As a band we’re known for whipping up festival crowds into a frenzy of joyous, colourful madness - so the lockdown periods were extremely difficult for us! Our song ‘Twitchy Feet’ was born out of our frustrations during this period and encapsulates our need to dance and let loose! We wanted to release it in the summer when we all feel the most free!
lyrics
You see I’ve got this little problem
Each time I try, I can’t stop them
Turning in circles I get dizzy
Feel numb, feel like I can’t speak
Going deeper underneath
It makes my brain feel fizzy
Nothing I can do
Nothing I can say
It’s coming through
Takes my breath away
Falling further down
Lost in the heat
Can’t stop moving, can’t stop moving
My twitchy feet
Beginning to spin, fast & slow
Lost in the beat, lost in the flow
This thirst is unquenchable
Oh this beast hiding inside,
Wants to break free and I can’t fight
So I surrender to the night
